This year, fans cast more than 2.5 million votes, contributing a single collective ballot that joins over 1,200 votes from artists, music historians, and industry professionals. While topping the fan vote doesn’t guarantee induction, it’s historically a strong indicator — last year, Dave Matthews Band, Peter Frampton, Ozzy Osbourne, Cher, and Foreigner all made it in after dominating fan ballots.
