The Boss is back, and this time he’s bringing his legendary story to the silver screen. The first trailer for the highly anticipated Bruce Springsteen biopic, ‘Deliver Me From Nowhere,’ has officially arrived, igniting excitement among fans and music enthusiasts alike. Scheduled for release on October 24, the film stars Jeremy Allen White of ‘The Bear’ fame as the iconic musician, Bruce Springsteen.

‘Jeremy Allen White’ takes on the formidable task of portraying Springsteen, with Jeremy Strong stepping into the shoes of Jon Landau, Springsteen’s longtime manager. The film also features Stephen Graham and Gaby Hoffmann as Springsteen’s parents, with Johnny Cannizzaro playing Steven Van Zandt, a key figure in the musician’s journey.

Based on Ryan McGinley’s 2023 book, ‘Deliver Me from Nowhere: The Making of Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska,’ the film delves into the period when Springsteen wrote and recorded his critically acclaimed 1982 album, ‘Nebraska.’ Fans can expect a heartfelt portrayal of the creative process behind one of Springsteen’s most revered works.

The trailer made its debut at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, where Jeremy Allen White expressed his enthusiasm for the project. In a conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, White described the experience of working on the film as “incredible, challenging, a dream come true,” adding, “I feel really lucky. We all had Bruce’s blessing on this film.” The blessing of the Boss himself undoubtedly adds a layer of authenticity and excitement to the film.

Jeremy Strong, who portrays Jon Landau, highlighted the unique relationship between Springsteen and his manager, describing it as “beautiful and unprecedented in the history of music.” Their collaboration has been pivotal in shaping Springsteen’s illustrious career.

In a nostalgic twist, back in November of 2024, Springsteen visited the set in New Jersey, where filming was in full swing. Reflecting on his choice of White for the role, Springsteen told the Telegraph, “I only had to see him [White] on ‘The Bear,’ and I knew he was the right guy, because he had that interior life – but he also had a little swagger.”

As fans eagerly await the film’s release, the trailer offers a tantalizing glimpse into the life and times of Bruce Springsteen during a transformative period in his career. Be sure to watch the trailer and mark your calendars for October 24, when ‘Deliver Me From Nowhere’ hits theaters.
