GARBAGE Is Back in a Big Way—Announcing 31-City Tour and Brand New Album
Hold onto your eyeliner and dust off those Doc Martens—GARBAGE is storming the stage once again with a 31-city North American tour in support of their hotly anticipated eighth studio album, Let All That We Imagine Be The Light. The “Happy Endings” tour kicks off September 3 in Orlando and wraps up November 2 in Phoenix, bringing the iconic alt-rock group back into the live spotlight for their first major U.S. headlining run in nearly ten years.
It’s been three decades since Shirley Manson, Duke Erikson, Steve Marker, and Butch Vig burst onto the scene with their industrial-tinged, emotionally raw, and sonically seductive sound. Since then, they’ve sold over 20 million records and redefined what it means to blend darkness with pop perfection. And now? They’re ready to do it all over again—louder, bolder, and more inspired than ever.
Their new album, dropping May 30, is already building buzz. Let All That We Imagine Be The Light is being described as a cinematic, synth-laced soundscape with biting lyrics and that signature GARBAGE grit. Shirley Manson calls it a response to “the chaos and extraordinary upheaval” of the times, aiming to find glimmers of light in the darkness. Expect angular guitars, dystopian vibes, and a whole lot of attitude.
Producer and drummer Butch Vig adds that the band leaned heavily into analog synths and layered textures, noting, “We definitely wanted the record to have some hope, some light, to convey the feeling that people have the power.”
The tour includes epic stops at Brooklyn Paramount, The Anthem in D.C., The Warfield in San Francisco, and more iconic venues coast to coast. Tickets go on sale April 4, and you will want to be there when GARBAGE lights up the night.
This isn’t just a tour—it’s a rebirth. And with Let All That We Imagine Be The Light, GARBAGE is reminding us all that rock is far from dead—it’s alive, kicking, and still smashing the patriarchy.
