Mark Tremonti Saddles Up for Belmont Stakes Performance, Announces Sinatra Tribute Tour

Rock legend Mark Tremonti is trading power chords for Big Band flair this weekend as he makes his debut at the historic Belmont Stakes. On June 7, the Grammy-winning musician will perform “New York, New York” live from Saratoga Racecourse, moments before the 157th running of the Grade 1 race. The performance will air live on Fox between 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. ET.

Known for shredding stages with CREED, ALTER BRIDGE, and his namesake band TREMONTI, the guitarist has surprised and impressed audiences with his recent foray into jazz vocals on the acclaimed “Tremonti Sings Sinatra” album. This new Belmont spotlight places Tremonti in the national limelight yet again—but this time, with tux-worthy swing instead of stadium rock.

To coincide with the televised performance, Tremonti has announced a short run of Sinatra tribute concerts in December 2025, joined by musicians from Sinatra’s original touring band. The four-stop tour will hit Orlando, Des Plaines, Huntington (NY), and Atlantic City, bringing Tremonti’s rich renditions of Ol’ Blue Eyes to intimate venues across the East Coast and Midwest.

Beyond music, Tremonti continues to champion the Down syndrome community in honor of his daughter Stella. A portion of every ticket sold will benefit the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) and Take A Chance For Charity, an initiative founded by Tremonti to inspire artists to stretch beyond their usual genres to raise funds for good causes.

The rock frontman’s 2022 album of Sinatra classics topped Billboard’s Top Jazz Albums and received high praise, including from Carson Daly, who called it “bar none the best Frank Sinatra cover I’ve ever heard.” Proceeds from the album continue to support NDSS, with Tremonti recently opening the SMILE With Stella Down Syndrome Clinic in partnership with AdventHealth, the first of its kind in the Southeastern U.S.

Between sold-out rock shows with the reunited CREED and elegant renditions of jazz standards, Mark Tremonti is proving that versatility can be a vehicle for both artistry and advocacy. Whether he’s commanding a crowd of thousands or crooning with a jazz band, Tremonti is making every performance count—for music and for meaning.
